| Legendary French duo AIR announce an extensive North American tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album Moon Safari. As with their recent European tour, which quickly sold out, AIR will be playing their critically acclaimed album in its entirety for the very first time. AIR's groundbreaking album has long been praised for its unique sounds that have inspired countless musicians to push boundaries, and its influence even transcends its art form. Since Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel formed the group in 1995, the prolific duo have released six albums in addition to their acclaimed EP Premiers Symptômes, which preceded the aforementioned classic Moon Safari, as well as two soundtracks, millions of copies of which have been sold in total. AIR has won numerous accolades worldwide for its unique style of downtempo electronic music, which has shaped the sound of the next generation of electro-pop, while remaining timeless. |
