ANNIE the musical brings us back to 1933 during the Great Depression. Residing in an all-girl orphanage of New York City, Annie endures a tough life to the hands of the mean and alcoholic Miss Hannigan who enslaves and mistreats the orphans. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents who abandoned her when she was a baby. When the assistant of billionaire Mr. Warbucks visits the orphanage to invite one of them to spend a week at their luxury home in order to help promote his image, Annie is selected. As time goes by M. Warbucks gets accustomed to Annie and decides to keep her for a longer period, announcing a search and reward to find Annie’s parents which brings out many frauds.
